History of Aryez

0: Crashing of the Spaceship New Hope onto the world of Akva/Arel/Arda in the star system of Altair. Subsequent scattering of thousands of people divided into many factions; breakdown of civilization.

 

200: The Arnore people emerge on the island of Firtsa (Ircha)

 

300: Arnore people begin migration from Firtsa (the Arnore who left were called Ayyadin)

 

350: Arnore people reach Dol Aryez (the Aryezi islands); these people form the Aryezi branch of Arnore people

 

400: Arnore peoples reach the continent of North Romendor (including what later became east Arzdar), and rapidly spread eastwards; these Arnore are called Dora

 

550: Several chiefdoms start emerging in Dol Aryez including Akhileshizdar (in Old Aryezi, Akhileshistar)

 

550-969: Era of Warring states in Dol Aryez, as trade and science continue to grow

 

567: Yelumbotlu I is the first chief of Akhileshizdar

 

630: House Armarnarnnh comes to power in Akhileshizdar

 

700: Most of the chiefdoms evolve into kingdoms

 

777: Chief Alyi I upgrades his title to King

 

800: Power is seized by a nobleman claiming descent from the legendary hero, Akhilesh. This man, Hri founds the Arturn dynasty

 

861: King Aralka begins the rapid expansion of Akhileshizdar

 

885: By the time of the death of King Elalel I, Akhileshizdar controls a quarter of Dol Aryez

 

925-969: King Alzir brings four-fifths of Dol Aryez under his control

970: Akhilesh I conquers the whole of Dol Aryez, and declares himself the Emperor of Aryez

 

993: The states of Traz and Zagazdar are set up under Aryezi influence in west Arzdar

 

1004: The state of Arzor is set up in east Arzdar and a huge chunk of North Romendor under Aryezi influence; the brother of Akhilesh, Aakaash is made king

 

1029: Aryez begins the piecemeal conquest of west Arzdar (then, the eastern part of Endor); it fights several Rushga, Odo, Zizgbeg, Murchagh, and Parquq chiefdoms

 

1033-1037: Akhilesh creates a standard language, script, calendar, currency, and religion for Aryez (Aryezi paganism); trade and roads expand

 

1070: Death of Akhilesh I, father of Aryez

 

1182: Akhilesh VII converts to a little known monotheistic sect known as Valarism that originated in the west

 

1239: Valarist priests create Eruism, which then becomes the state religion of Aryez; it spreads to Arzdar and to North Romendor

 

1270: Aryezi ships begin voyaging to the coasts of Arzdar, Endor, Formendor, Durstar, and the Romendors in large numbers bringing civilization and Eruism

 

1320: The Romendori expansion that had begun around 150 conquers much of Arzor (battle of Walag, 1322), and reduces Arnore people in Romendor; the area remaining to Arnore peoples in Romendor becomes called Arzdar.

 

1333: Akhilesh X completes the conquest of East Endor (which becomes part of Arzdar) by defeating a federation of local chiefs at the battle of Arar; Aryezi culture begins to replace local cultures in west Arzdar

 

1348: At Sanagbando in Zagazdar, Akhilesh X conquers Zagaland and Traz

 

1381: At Avadenhazar in Arzor, Akhilesh X conquers Arzor and thus unites Arzdar under Aryezi rule; Aryezi culture does not replace Zaga, Trazi, or Arzori culture in east Arzdar; Shifzhaz and Firtsa are conquered

 

1413: Death of Akhilesh X the conqueror; the Aryezi empire begins a long rule over Arzdar; this is the golden age

 

1974: The death of King Shar ends the golden age and begins a long period of decline (civil wars, less trade, enemy attacks)

 

2170: Aryezi purists and dissidents, unhappy about the conditions of Aryezi sail thousands of miles across uncharted waters and set up the kingdom of Aryezizdar

 

2434: King Tlaniahwed I is defeated and killed by the Wigga in battle (Sir Bayerzek) in the first major Aryezi defeat; several Aryezi possessions become semi-independent

 

2515: King Eakhor is forced to abdicate as revolts tear Aryez apart; east Arzdar is lost as Zagazdar, Traz, and Arzor secede, and west Arzdar breaks apart into several Aryezi kingdoms which evolve their own Aryezi language (Arbagya, Arses, Ethira, Khonaz, Kapo, etc.); Aryez itself is chaotic as warlords compete for power

 

2537: Aryez is split into the kingdoms of North Aryez and South Aryez; the kings have little power

 

2692: Aryez is reunified by the legendary warrior Estaldo, although feudal lords have much power

 

2515-3200: A series of Arzdara and non-Arzdara kingdoms rule over Arzdar; the largest kingdoms include Aryez, Arses, Ethira, Arbagya, Kapo, Arzor, Khonaz, and Aryezizdar

 

3189: Atanuel the prophet begins preaching Aralan in Aryezizdar

 

3200: Aryezizdar becomes the Aralan Empire when Atanuel becomes the Khor

 

3206: Aryez is conquered by Aralan; most Aryezin convert

 

3209: Atanuel dies

 

3213: Azdar is completely conquered

 

3213-3249: Most of the Romendors, Durstar and large portions of Endor fall to the Aralan empire; in Arzdar, the people adopt a later form of Aryezi known as Arzdara, and convert to Aralan; several Arzdara dialects are sometimes considered separate languages (the 10): Aryezi, Aryezizdara, Arseza, Arvagya, Khonaza, Kapa, Etera, Arzora, Zaga, and Traza 

 

3271: Aralan power shifts to Khonaz where the priest-Emperors rule from Ainadel-Yurushlam 

 

3273: Martyrdom of Faralkar in Aryez, producing a uniquely Aryezi branch of Aralan

 

3288: Upon the assassination of a great general, all of the non-Arzdara portions of the Aralan empire break away

 

3343: Aryez regains independence and eastern Arzdar breaks off into the kingdoms of Arzor, Traz, Zagazdar, and Argasha

 

3451: Aralan power collapses as west Arzdar fragments into several states; the priest-emperor becomes only the high priest and religious leader; Aryezistar also becomes an independent nation albeit a very strict totalitarian state dedicated to scientific enhancement (this state isolates itself from the world and rarely appears in history again); throughout Arzdar republics, theocracies, and monarchies (on in Aryez, a socialist monarchy) reign; this is much of the situation in Endor, Durstar and the Romendors as nations and people constantly change

 

3499: Aradorn begins building the Arzori Empire by conquering Zagazdar, Traz, and Argasha by 3576 his decedents rule much of Romendor until the time of Xuclak

 

3501: Restless tribes in the Endor Mountains and Deserts begin conquering huge parts of Endor; the Merchid and Selyuk carve out huge portions of Arzdar (they convert to Aralan)

 

3755: Asra (King Orhan), an island in the great ocean becomes an independent kingdom and adopt a third form of Aralan; they convert the kings of Merka and Odo, on the west coast of Endor to their form of Aralan; Odo begins to expand eastwards, until checked by the Merchid

 

3889: The Xan tribe suddenly appears in Formendor and Dustar; nobody knows where they came from

 

3890: Under their King, Xuclak the wolf they conquer Formendor and Dustar

 

3891: They suddenly conquer the Romendors

 

3895: Xuclak bursts into Arzdar and conquers the whole thing including Aryez (battles of Qazak-en-Shiret and Syein)

 

3899: Eastern and Central Endor are subjugated by Xuclak

 

3901: The conquest of western Endor by Xuclak makes him the ruler of the world; he crowns himself  Emperor of Emperors

 

3923: Upon the death of Xuclak, the Xan tribe disappears to where it came from, and all the nations regained independence; large nations gradually absorb small ones and strong centralized states emerge all over the world, as civilization spreads. Aryez is a weak monarchy dominated by the democratic  parliament and then communists.

 

4187: Anduril I the strong becomes Emperor of Aryez, and begins a revival of Aryezi/Aralan culture, industrialization, scientific advancement, and military buildup; similar measures are taken by his contemporaries (Beyezek of Ethra, Rezep of Arvega, Almejor of Kapo, Lojara of Odo, Qoqond of Wiggazdar, Eckendar of Hininim, Narnasil of Arzor, etc.)

 

4203: Mejorkhor, the son of Anduril creates the second Aryezi empire over all of Arzdar (Renawata); however he cannot keep control over everything and grants independence of all the states he conquered, which while becoming modern like Aryez, remain minor players in the world.

 

4213: Attacks on the Arzdara states by the Selyuk, Merchid, and Wigga, and an attempt by the Aralan high preist Baon to create a theocratic state make them join Aryez. This new state takes on the name of AU or Arzdara Union, dominated by Aryez under Mejorkhor. AU includes all of historical Arzdar except Aryezistar, which is still isolated. AU also implements Soshka, a political economic system somewhat like socialism.

 

4235: All of Arel (the world) is now controlled by about 15 empires that are industrialized, contain high culture, and express scientific progress. These empires are generally made of many groups that follow many religions, as a result of the last 4000 years of Arelian history. These Empires include AU/Aryez/Arzdar (by whatever name you wish it to be called), Odo, Merka, Selyuk, Merchid, Wigga, Hloneno, Dustar, Formenstar, Asra, Makhastar, Hininim, Maungal, and some others. Some minor states also persisted like Bazak, Aryezistar, Erzum, and Hyarbagya. All together, there were about 40 nations. All these nations competed and there were sometimes some wars.
